Czech culture floods the Océan-Marais de Monts Libraries
Baobab. What a funny name for a Czech publishing house?! And yet, in a tiny little town located about 100 kilometers outside of Prague, this tiny little publishing house marvel took root in 2000. For over two decades now, Tereza Horvatovà’s contagious energy has been the publishing brass and backbone of original works and translations, a number of which are in French. The Océan-Marais de Monts Library Network has adopted éditions Baobab, and is thrilled to present a wealth of workshops, encounters, storytime sessions and special events featuring Czech culture.
