From dish to fold
Wednesday, November 30 from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4pm.
Parent/child storytelling workshop, led by Valérie Michel (Livre’S).
First of all, approach, through a reading time, the books of Katsumi Komagata. A time to become familiar with the poetic and plastic universe of the artist, to discover his love of nature and his interest in the concerns of childhood, to delicately manipulate the childhood, and to delicately handle his works as works of art…
Then to appropriate the artistic approach of the author, through a workshop around the paper which is in the heart of his universe. We will tame the color, the shapes, the textures. We will create a surprise: we will transform one thing into another!
On the workshop program: cutting, collage, folding, pop up… Children and parents will find their own way in the artist’s universe to create the literary and artistic object they want.
For children from 6 to 11 years old, accompanied by their parents.
Intercommunal library of Loué.
The librarians of Noyen-sur-Sarthe and Loué regularly offer discovery sessions of Komagata’s books to groups of children: toddlers (with the Relais petite enfance) and kindergarten students in Noyen-sur-Sarthe, kindergarten and primary school students in Loué. Valérie Michel will offer her “storytelling workshop” on December 1 to a class in Loué.
The organizers of the leisure centers of Coulans-sur-Gée, Loué and Noyen-sur-Sarthe also work with the children around the universe of the artist every Wednesday. They will welcome the author-illustrator Amandine Momenceau on November 23 for “Carte-tiroir” workshops in Noyen-sur-Sarthe and Loué.
